More Pizza!

We were pretty kicked back after the parade and festivities.  Emily and Zoe laughed for hours on end. Such silly girls. Olivia and Lucas went swimming. Nothing holds them back. I chilled with Nick and then cooked.

Isn't chard just beautiful? I love it! I picked some more for pizza tonight and completely forgot to weigh it. I am so mad at myself for this. It is about the same as I picked before so I'm going to go ahead and record it as the same weight. I hope (if I have anything else to harvest) that I will remember to weigh it.

I chopped up the stems and sauteed in olive oil.

Added some onion.

Worcestershire sauce, red pepper and the Swiss chard leaves.

Added garlic.

After I made the dough Nick put together a pepperoni pizza.

Assembling Homer's pizza.

Very tasty stuff.

Also made a cheese pizza for Emily, her friend, Olivia and Lucas.

The sun shining a bit as it is "setting".

And look...even after a long family day Homer put a little more siding on the greenhouse. He's such a good husband and such a hard worker. If I could do anything for him, it would be for him to be able to rest more.
Another summer day come and gone. What's in store for tomorrow? (You can see our 4th activities below).

Swiss chard is a colorful plant. I don't even know if I've ever eaten it. It looks great on Homer's pizza. Your other pizzas look delicious as well. I need to make another one, we like Italian sausage. I use my bread machine to make the dough. Make sauce from canned tomato sauce, adding garlic, onions, green pepper, and Italian seasonings.

Your green house looks wonderful and Homer has done a great job with it.

Enjoy and have a great week.

Great looking pizza! And your 4th looks like it was a blast. Here it was extremely hot, and last night we had a huge dust storm blow through. I'm heading north to Montana next week. Will be nice to cool down a bit.
