A Deep Freeze

An uneventful day spent driving my truck back and forth across town running my children to work or practice. Of course, the times did not work together so I literally spent a total of five hours behind the wheel of my truck. An audio book would have been nice. To top it off it was -40* below zero so I didn't stop for any photographs.

I'll leave you with one, though. It is very popular to take photos wearing shorts or bikini's in front of the University of Alaska temperature sign when we have extreme cold. This photo is circling facebook and has to be one of the best I've seen. Aside from the two guys with their skivvies around their ankles the rest of these fellows had to have run from their cars in the nude. The guitar/ukulele placement brings humor to an otherwise chilly day.

LOL - This was literally the first thing that popped up in my FB feed this morning. Talk about a morning eye opener!

That should be a calendar. :-)

Wondering about the freezer burn on the guy who decided to lie down on the ice. Ouch. Hope you are keeping warmer than that! :)

Haha wow all of the sudden I feel like visiting Alaska! I'll bet this is great for tourism. Can't imagine all the off color jokes that are made during these photo shoots!
