Hello!!

Hey there strangers! My life is so insanely busy I can't even think. Elijah's home schooling takes up most of my life. Everything else is suffering.

It was the Spring Concert last Friday. Aren't my little ones adorable?

After the concert we ran to the greenhouse. I needed some new pots (which I'll show you later). Look at their flowers. *sigh*

The greenhouses are just getting started. We have had a very cold "Spring" so there is still lots of snow and it isn't very nice out.

These are my petunias. Not quite the same. I am very sad about my gardening. Having so many kids and so much going on it has been getting pushed to the side. Most everything  has/was/will be planted at least 6 weeks late. I'll be lucky to have flowers before it snows again.

My peppers are the only things that look good. This photo is a week old. They are even bigger now.

Last Saturday was our granddaughter Nevaeh's 1st birthday. Can you believe we attended a party that my husband's ex-wife was at? No words were said. Hell, we didn't even look at her... and guess what? It went fine. None of us could care less about her being there (and if you knew all her history you'd wonder why I remained so calm. lol).

This is our gift and she loved it.

Two of five boys. :)

Homer with all our kids except Emily. She was out with a friend and didn't make the party. Big families are fun and crazy. Yes, Andrew intentionally ruins every family photo I take. His "loyalty" is to his mom and he won't ever mature enough to know there is room for us all.

Baby spent her first night at Grandma's. That was awesome and we plan on doing that a lot more.

It was a fried chicken kind of night.

There are lots of gaps in my photos. I really have been busy. Tuesday I took my Cub Scouts on a field trip to the Fish and Game office and then made homemade fishing poles with them, but forgot my camera at home. There is always something going on in my life and I kind of hate that it is so busy I can't document it. I've got to try harder.

I haven't been to the gym in a week and already put some of my weight back on. :( But I'm cutting myself some slack. I have entirely too much on my plate and have also had a few sick days. I'll try tomorrow to take more photos.

Tonight I made a turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, corn-on-the-cob, salad and dinner rolls. Why do we need a holiday for a big feast? Nick had a couple of his friends over. It was nice.
After dinner Homer and I watched Zero Dark Thirty. (After watching the Academy Awards I ordered all nominated movies on Netflix). It was good, but could have been 30 minutes shorter.

Well, it is 1:10am and I need to hit the sack. Miss reading your blogs, but I'll be back soon.

I love making a nice turkey dinner for no special reason, don't you?

Flower season is just around the corner. I bet you're itching to get in the dirt.

Hard to believe one year old, she is a real sweetie. A family group, guess they cannot all smile all the time together. Plants, you do so well, I'm sure the flowers will flower before snow next year, Is it a plastic house/ growing house? does it have polystyrene wall linings?Love the littlie's pics too, Olivia is one smile always. Super boots, I want some!!! Greetings to all at TWH from Jean

Some years gardens are better than others! That's just the way it goes. Last year my garden was a joke!

I have gone through phases with my husband's ex but my ex-husband's wife and I get on really well. I guess I'm delighted she took him off my hands!! Sounds like you guys did a good thing managing the party so well. Great photos as usual. I didn't realise you were home schooling Elijah now. I must have missed a post! That IS hard work. What you do in your greenhouse is amazing!
