Throw it all away.

Yesterday was a rainy one. Despite that I did get one bed planted with 75 Impatiens. I have one bed in the front and the fence bed left to do. Summer will be on its way out by the time I am done!!

Since it was rainy I worked on the house. I live with some horribly awful messy people. I’ll miss them when they are gone, but I won’t miss the mess.

This is Emily’s idea of clean. In all fairness her siblings had a hand it, but I’m pretty sure they don’t stuff garbage and dirty socks in purses to hide them. I always wondered the thought logic on that with the laundry room/garbage can being literally 4 steps from her door. She’s our 3rd marginally 4th child to clean this way. ?????? So I worked on this room for 2 hours and it still isn’t done!!

This is Elijah being mouthy-adamant that he spent all day cleaning the living room. Man, I need his glasses.

Emptied Elijah’s room. He had about 40 xBox games all over the floor being scratched and ruined. I took everything he owns and boxed it up. He has a bed, desk, clothes, hats and cologne. I left the video game system, but he has to check out games from me. I can never be accused of having easy kids to raise. :) lol

Managed to do 8 loads of laundry yesterday. Got a few beds changed out and I need to take some big blankets to the Laundromat. I’ll wait for Emily to get here so I have company.

Crossing my fingers it doesn’t rain today. Lord knows I could spend all week working on my house and not finish but I’d rather be gardening. :)

Yes, I read about your so short summer season. No easy way to get mess sorted, tidied, or decisions made as to which can be thrown away. And even if one or both parents are so tidy, it does not follow on.Cheers from Jean
