(After you read the exciting news you can scroll down to another post about the first part of Sunday).
So after our movie my husband headed up to the hospital to wait for the arrival of our first grandchild. (I stayed home with the kids).
At 2:50am little Nevaeh White came into the world at 7 pounds 8 ounces. Here is the proud dad, Cody.
And proud Grandpa Homer.
This photo is noteworthy as it shows Homer’s “pointy” ears. It’s a family thing. :) He has them, Cody has them, our little Lucas has them and now it appears Nevaeh has them. (Homer was tickled about that!).
Grandma Kathy meeting her Granddaughter (Trudy’s mom).
Mom and daughter…so beautiful.
Tonight Cody called and invited us up to see the baby. Emily couldn’t go with us because I didn’t give enough notice (like I knew??) so we dropped Elijah at baseball practice and took a little Auntie and Uncle to meet their niece. I must say being a Grandma is alright. :)
I just love this photo. Aren’t babies precious? I could so see Homer and I with six more if we were just a little younger.
Lucas really like the baby, but Olivia didn’t show much interest. Maybe it was overwhelming for her.
Trudy’s mom is on the right and her Aunt on the left.
A new family…best wishes to them in their journey.
