Some Days Go Poof!

I started out all kinds of ambitious yesterday. Then Facebook happened. What a time sucking adventure that one can be.

I cut a paper towel roll in half, stuffed with hay and gave it to the guinea pigs. They went nuts. Olivia brought home a book on their care that we are reading together and that was one of the suggestions.

001

Picked up the boy and went to the court house. Beautiful building. I hate this place.

002

I am braving Fred Meyer again, but if I see the Super Secret Security Guard following me  they will lose my business forever. He’s just too creepy for me.

003

On the way home I came around the corner to find two moose in the road that I spooked into the ditch.

007

They were jumpy, but I got a quick photo.

006

Apparently it was the other side of the road they wanted to be on. This might be the mom with twins we’ve had in the yard and the other one could have been over there.

009

Lovely snowy roads. I think it’s pretty slick today. All the melting froze last night. The Little’s bus had a hard time stopping in front of the house and then Olivia slipped and fell while trying to cross the road.

Elijah’s nauseous again. Two good days, one bad. Seems to be the cycle. I’m so thankful I can be here for him.

So yesterday went *poof* and I didn’t get a darn thing done except a couple loads of laundry. I’m going to try and make this a better day. It’s a busy week for me with only Thursday off (filing court papers, meeting with the superintendent, meeting with the custody investigator , go ice skating, attend a court hearing, piano lessons for Emily…I’m sure I’m forgetting something and I’m quite sure something else will get added. Can’t wait until the weekend because not too much of what was listed is fun!!).

Oh, and the fox that was screaming the other night? She came and met us in the front yard while waiting for the bus, but I didn’t have a camera on me. A neighbor has also had it screaming in his yard. He thought maybe she lost one of her kits? A theory anyhow.

Ahhh I know what you mean. As I was brewing my coffee this morning a glance at the calendar pretty much said..."Bonnie you have no life now that hockey has started up". Just kidding....It is not that bad just hauling the extra kids around is tough. Cool you see moose that much.
