It’s not quite my baby girl’s birthday, yet, but soon. Remember when I said I was planning a party….well this was it. A little fun thrown in the middle of all this work I’ve been doing.
The Little People had so much fun in the pool. I really should take them swimming all the time, but I don’t like the water.
Here’s Em…doesn’t she look so graceful?
Green, blue and polka dots…..so Emily.
Such a beautiful girl. Somehow this seems like the perfect age. We can really connect. Not looking forward a few years from now when it’s all about boys and friends. Maybe we could slow things down a little?
Emily got the first piece..the bow right out of the middle!
Emily had a nice turn-out. Only three girls couldn’t make it (plus the three that she forgot to invite ‘cause she’s kind of absent-minded like that). :)
My niece Tisha was there earlier, but had leave for a going away party.
Em got so many nice things. She was very spoiled by her friends and family.
Emily and four of her sweet friends are fast asleep upstairs while I pound some coffee. We weren’t home until 9:30 last night, but we still had pizza, pop, chips, air hockey, dancing to music, gift giving from us and a late movie. Today we’ll be tie-dying t-shirts before taking them all home. In the meantime I’d better get busy in the yard. It sprinkled a little last night. It’s only a matter of time…..
