I’m still here, but have lost my photo-taking mojo.
Jasper…absolutely the most loving bunny around.
This is another thing I do with my Swiss Chard…chop the ribs, sauté in olive oil and garlic and add it to a pasta dish.
Yesterday I finished up processing the two-gallons of berries we picked the other day. Ended with 8.5 pints of Highbush Cranberry Jelly and 4 pints of Cranberry/Apple Jelly. (There wasn’t enough juice for a full batch so I just topped it off with apple juice and it tastes great!).
There have been days of slacking with movies. It’s been hard to get back into the swing of things with so many doctor appointments in the middle of our day.
I did mow the lawn yesterday and the girls and I did a bunch of cleaning in the yard. How is it half my yard is beautiful flowers and the other half collects garbage, junk and toys? It looks horrible. I’ll have some before and after photos in my next post.
Took Emily school clothes shopping last night. She loves shoes like I used to love shoes (now I’m just a functional farmer, but I used to have about 50 pair!). We managed to get out of the store with only 4 pair, but if I was well-off there were many other pairs that were just too cute! Open House at the school tonight for the younger three and then right to school supply shopping.
I see the sun shining and have 45-minutes before physical therapy so I’m outta here!

School starting, summer almost over, makes me sad. . .
Hard to believe school is starting soon - you sure do have your hands full lady!!
My baby is a junior this year - just got his driver's permit. Not fair that time passes so quickly :)
I'm glad to read that you're hanging in there through this difficult time. You're a woman with true grit, and you're showing it now.
You have been busy!
Have sent much picture taking mojo your way. Want to see the yard. How is Elijah comming along? Love you Big Brother. Can't figure out the stuff at bottom so am anonymous...lol
Your jelly looks fabulous. How is your son doing? Could we have an update? Hope all is well.
I forget school starts soon. you have been busy with all your canning. I remember those running from doctor to doctor days. Glad he is on the mend.
