Really?

Did he really say that?

Last night, did my son really say, "You can't take my phone away.  Homer pays for it".

Really??

At 9:30am this morning did I really get a phone call where another son said, "My car won't start".  To which I replied, "Did you plug it in all night?". To which he replied, "Yes, but it is out-of-gas".

Really??  You could go play pool with the money I gave you, but some how putting gas in the car escaped your list of things to do.

And my final reply, "I'm not going to deal with this right now". And I hung up.  After all he should be calling Homer.  He pays for it.

Then my day went on.  I got three kids out of nice warm beds to drive at -20 below to basketball practice because there is nothing I would rather do on a Saturday morning.

What other great things will this day bring?

What's even more amazing is that you'll miss all this craziness when they're grown and moved away -- I sure don't know why, but that's the way it is for moms! It's good that you can see the silly in it.

Oh no. I think I have give my daughter her $50 allowance three times since Wednesday. I will tell her to use some of it for something I normally pay for and I will pay her back... I need to start asking for receipts! She calls in "her" money because it is from Social Security payments we get since her Dad passed away....

Teenagers are not known for their consideration or common sense. Cases in point.
Hope the day brought something great after all.
