Pretty Lazy Days

Grandma Debbi had Lucas and Olivia over to visit the other day and she made him this hat. (He didn't want his photo taken). I have to get a photo of the pot holders she made. Just beautiful work.

Last night was a completely lazy night. The boys had a late basketball game (9:00pm) and we stayed home with the other four. Dad fell asleep taking The Wee People up to bed so Em and I watched the movie without him. I worked on Olivia's hat. It's twice that much after tonight's movie.

This morning I made six and a half dozen Oatmeal Raisin cookies and my plate for Dozen A Day. Lucas and I delivered it after we took Olivia to school.

The sky was really pretty this morning. I think I was just a few minutes late for the really good shot.

Lucas was up at 6:30AM this morning. That never happens!! He sure loves on Roxie a lot. Not sure how much Roxie loves it!

After delivering our cookies Lucas and I met Dad at Pagoda for lunch. Has to be some of the best oriental food around. Lucas fell asleep on the way home so it seemed only natural to take a nap with him when we got back. (It's about a 60-mile round trip).

Another lazy night! Shame on me!! LOL I dropped Elijah and his friend at the UAF Nanook's hockey game vs Michigan Wolverines (we won 3-0, I think). Came back to the house and watched Dad play the Wii with the little ones and then we watched a movie. All three older kids are spending the night with friends so it was a little quiet around here.

I'm going to have to get something done tomorrow!!

Good morning Gayle ~ It is good for us to have 'lazy days' sometimes. They rejuvenate us.

You sure are a whiz at making hats and those cookies look yummy.

Have a great weekend ~ FlowerLady
