Queen of ALLL Things Awe-Summm!

Pam gave me this award. She couldn't have had better timing. I've been a bit lost lately dealing with the far-reaching ever-choking grasp of the Hex in her attempts to destroy my family. I'll never understand her inability to concentrate on rebuilding her own life rather than focusing so much energy on our lives, but whatever. It gets me down, but great people like Pam bring me right back up.
Now that the honor has been bestowed upon me, I am to share seven things that make me Awe-summm. (I think this is supposed to be feel-good therapy, not bragging! :)
1. Nick, Elijah, Emily, Olivia and Lucas make me awe-summm. I love my children with every bit of my heart and soul. No matter how many times the Hex berates my mothering and attempts to cast a shadow over me, I look into their sweet faces and see their love for me. They know mom's arms are safe and will always be here when they need a hug.
2. Having the perfect partner makes my life awe-summm. Homer exudes goodness therefore making me a better person. He is strong and honorable and loving and kind. Even though he has sadness in his heart he doesn't let it consume his life because it wasn't his choice. He always lavishes us with love making our family awe-summm!
3. I am awe-summm at multi-tasking. I can do a lot of different things at once usually with success.
4. I am awe-summm because I am a loyal friend. I may not see you all the time or at all, but I am here when you need me. My friends know that day or night I will drop whatever I am doing if they need me.
5. I think my giving heart makes me awe-summm. I like to do things for other people. That is what brings joy to my life. Sometimes I give to much of myself and don't leave enough of me where I am needed, but my hubby gently reminds me not to take on too much.
6. I am an awe-summm gardener. Okay, not really. I put a lot of seeds in the dirt and a few of them grow, but I figure it I get one plant to grow that is good enough to be awe-summm!!
7. I can't say I'm an awe-summm driver because I just got in another accident a couple of weeks ago. I'm not an awe-summm house keeper because, well, I'm not interested in "keeping a house". I have a home...and it's lived in! So I guess for number seven I'll have to say that I'm awesome because I am a hard worker. I will keep at something until the job is done. I don't think anyone has ever accused me of being lazy.
Okay. There's seven things about me. Now I am supposed to name seven other awesome women. I could list a lot more than that, but today I am going to just name two because they live right here in my town. Patty is awe-summm because she is a great mom, wife, friend, daughter, sister. She is completely centered with her family, and that is what I love about her. The other person in Lucy. Lucy loves life. She isn't negative or down, she lives life as it is meant to be lived....with a smile and positive attitude. She balances work, fun and family better than most people. She a wonderful mom and that makes her awe-summm!
I'll see what I can do for some photos for those of you that took the time to read through this post! :) I know, we're all busy, aren't we? I'm hoping to get into the greenhouse this weekend as I have plants expiring left and right. Hubby is giving so much, I cannot ask for more so we'll see what happens. Enjoy the weekend!

I envy you for number 3. I have to do things one at a time or it just gets too overwhelming. I have always admired your ability to keep on moving forward no matter how much chaos goes on around you.

If anyone deserves this award, Gayle, it's certainly you! I wish I had a fraction of your energy and talent for so many things. Sorry about not commenting lately, but it seems like time gets by me before I can get everything done. Now that the weather is better, it's great to be outside!

Keep up your positive attitude... it will kick the 'hex' right in the butt!

Have a wonderful Mother's Day.
