Up on the shady side of the hill (at our first house) you can see there is still a lot of snow.

Snows gone, but Nick is still practicing shooting pucks.

The kids wearing shorts (in town) at Alaskaland.
Nick building a garden dome at our second home.
Emily ice fishing at Chena Lakes.
Boy Scouts last meeting (that's me in the middle and Nick to the right with no shirt on).
Last day of school...Nick in the red hat. The grass is growing and the trees have leaves.
Dad and Olivia at our home now.
Flowers I got for Mother's Day. All the trees have leaves.
Olivia and Daisy when we first brought her home.
Elijah skateboarding down Isberg in front of the house.
Nick skateboarding behind Safeway.
Dad, Lucas, Mom and Olivia at home. See how our snow lasts a bit longer than in town.

I get the idea that even when it is 50 degrees, you guys dig out the shorts and short sleeves. How warm does it get up there anyway?
I still need to come visit in the summer sometime, but I have no desire to do the winter thing. 20 years of Wisconsin winters have left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Ack! It sure is pretty, though, isn't it?
Gayle...Nice sky photos above and thanks for giving us a better sense of your weather here. So, sometime in April the snow usually goes away??
FINALLY...someone that can relate to me! LOL
