Pam (a mom of six!) brings us this weekly meme. There are so many moments I am going to miss, but spending alone time with my oldest son, Nick, tops the list. If I think about him growing up and leaving for too long I get a sick, frantic feeling like I am drowning and can't grab on to anything to pull myself out. I cannot imagine my home without him. It will be very empty. He's been my best buddy for so long.
Last night my dear husband tucked in Elijah and Emily, and then put the Wee People to bed so I could spend some one-on-one time with Nick. We had a whole hour to just hang out. Oh, did I mention he kicked my butt at pool. Three times!

sniff they grow so fast.. that one on one time is so wonderful.. Great moment.
It is great spending alone time with your kids. I still enjoy the time with mine even though they are grown and have kids of their own.
I am with you on this one mom! So with you! Wanting to dig my heals in and not let the time pass by and just be different with this one... Oh I hear you! (and I love seeing my new button up there!! WHOO HOO!!!!!)
I just noticed your weather button! Do you really have it that much warmer than us today!?! WOW!! I heard that Alaska and Georgia were the same temps today!
