Anyhow, Patty sent me this awesome photo of Carson. I wanted to add him to the blog, and note that he also won his game I got to watch Saturday afternoon. (Jared's team won all three games they played! Carson won both of his!).
See the pink ice? The Carlson Center (where the UAF Nanooks play) has pink ice in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pretty cool!

The boys really take to this game and have all the equipment to play it safe. Nice action shot.
The pink ice was such a cool idea. Did the boys mind playing on pink ice?
Wow! I guess it is already hockey season. We are still wearing shorts and tank tops here in San Antonio! :)
Hi, Gayle,
Thanks for visiting my blog!
I love seeing all the hockey pictures on your blog. I went to high school in AK, and would go up to UAF for All-State Band.
Blessings,
Michele
Fairbanks...we didn't make it that far last month...only to Anchorage. Are you all having snow...as on the jack-o-lantern? It was cold when we were there.
Love the hockey photo and the pink ice!
Excellent photo!
The pink ice is totally cool.
and yes...I got the reference! Two extra bonus awareness points for me! I've been so brain dead lately you pretty much have to beat me over the head for me to catch on to anything.
I really love that they made the ice pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. :) rock on!
