Soccer: The End
It's a bittersweet ending to the soccer season for Nick. His team steam-rolled through the tournament without his help due to mandatory high school football practice. He was able to play one last time with his team (Friday night), and scored an awesome goal from the corner. The team was in the Championship at 9:00am (Saturday). Nick was at the football field preparing to play in the JV game against Juneau. The soccer team lost 3-1. I know in his heart he wishes he could have been there for his team. I'm thankful it was such a fun season for him. Nice group of guys and a lot of laughs. By-the-way, it was cold and pouring rain for this game.

I'm glad he had such a great group of guys to play with...so many teams now-a-days aren't fun to play with. It sucks about the rain and cold though..its been raining non stop here for a month (well..not literally :P) and I noticed yesterday that there are some leaves starting to change color...*sigh* it doesn't seem like we had a summer at all and now fall is upon us ;-(
