I have three Buff Orphingtons that were given to me by Wendy. They are about 2 months older than the rest. Nine Light Brahmas survived the raven attack. I can't wait until all these ladies start laying me eggs.

This is Rupert the Giant White turkey. He is Homer's turkey and we were going to keep him since he was a Survivor, but by the way he waddles already it's obvious he isn't meant to be a long-term pet. The other turkey is my Royal Palm hen. I haven't given her a name yet. I'm sad the other one didn't make and she's basically on her own. Next Spring I'll order a couple more to keep her company.

I have one Silver Seabright rooster and three hens. There are two Buff Black Tailed Japanese hens.

The Rosecombs are by far the most friendly birds in the yard and are easily caught by the kids. There are three roosters and two hens. Only one Splash Silkie survived the power outage on their first day here, and I'm not sure what the sex is.

I have three rooster White Black Tailed Japanese. Very unfortunate there are no hens. So much for my breeding program. The Golden Laced Cochins have three roosters and two hens.

This is what happens when there are too many roosters in the hen house.

I realized Daisy is a sheep and not poultry, but I couldn't leave her out. She needs another bath, but her yard is dirt so she'd be a mess right away anyhow.
