Some Alaskan Scenery

August 4...

One day it is a soccer Championship and the next day Emily is off to Tok to go to Shen Bible Camp. Busy girl! These photos are from our drive. It's a 400-mile round trip. I took Olivia and Lucas with me and they were outstanding... we drove straight down, spent 5 minutes dropping off Emily and headed back. We stopped 3 times on the way home. Alaskans really don't think twice about driving those kind of miles in a day. We just jump in the car and go.

Here's a calf moose we saw on the way down.

Apparently camera shy! :)

This was the first stop after dropping Emily off. I could not resist picking up rocks for the pool.

Then we stopped in Delta (halfway) at the drive-in for lunch.

One last stop at the Knotty Shop for ice cream cones.

Finally, croquet at home in the beautiful weather. (And there is that bank still half done).

Australians know all about road trips. Loved the coming home photos. Some of the best for those of us trying to picture the property :-)
