New Year's Eve

Meet Dot (or Dottie... we're not really sure). It's Olivia's leopard gecko that she got with Birthday/Christmas money. They have a life span of 15-20 years so hopefully we'll enjoy him/her for many years to come. To answer a question... yes, it is possible for the turtles to live 40 years.... out living me. We shall see as we don't always have the best of luck even when giving proper care.

Our Granddaughter Nevaeh was here for New Year's Eve.

As well as her brother Asa.

Glad we got the ping pong table out. It's brings lots of enjoyment.

It was beautiful out being well about zero when normally it is -20* below. We went down and enjoyed the fireworks at the University.

Lucas, Asa and Olivia...

Back at home there were 29 of us at the house for New Year's Eve. Lots of sledding, fireworks, a bonfire and game playing. We grilled burgers to keep it simple. We had such a great night with so much family here... my niece and nephew, their mom and their families, Cody, Trudy and her family as well as a couple friends of the kids. Looking forward to our next sledding party.

Super round up of family photos, each one a story, I do like Homer, a man ready for work, even at New Year, and Nevaeh, is that a blue outdoor seat or baby sled?? Looks super for the snow, and she is smiling and so happy. I am so glad you enjoyed the family all together, and slightly warmer day and night.Greetings to all from Jean

29 people! You don't mess around and it looks like everyone was having a great time. All the pictures are fun, but I especially love the logs on the fire and the last one. Great light and composition.
