Valentine Love

When Lucas got home yesterday we jumped right into get his homework done and making Valentine’s. He loves school and writing and showing how smart he is. :)

Then we were off to basketball practice. He ran, I knitted.

Back at home I got busy helping Emily make her Valentine’s… cupcakes for the class. I had made them earlier so they would cool for her to frost.

Then she wanted to make fondant flowers to top them with. (Our first time doing this).

Drizzled chocolate, sprinkles, flowers and frosting…they were awesome. Not exactly like the photos, but we had a lot of fun doing this project together. The kitchen is still a mess as I’ve been down and out all day. Headache and sore throat.

Each got a pick plus she had chocolate heart boxes for her teachers (so did Olivia and Lucas).

At 9pm Elijah asked me to make a big cookie for “a girl”. (He never remembers ahead of time).  The first one fell apart so in my not-feeling-so-good state I was up until 12:30am making a small pizza-sized cookie. He was thankful and I guess she liked it. And if I were a betting Mom he probably told her he made it! LOL

I have slept most of the day and when I did get up I’ve just sat. Energy is zapped, but still have to roll….

got Lucas from school, dropped of the girls to Grandma for a visit, picked up Elijah, dropped him off at another location, back home to get Lucas from Nick and now we are walking out the door to his basketball game and then collect everyone else. (The kitchen is still a mess).
