I Think I Hate Everything

okay, maybe not. But I do hate just blogging the feel good stuff. Or the little bit whiny stuff. I’d love to blog “the whole truth and nothing but the truth” Your Honor, but someone would just take that to court accusing me of publically telling the truth saying bad things about them. Some days I hate my real life. Thank God for blogging.
This is the intersection of Geist Road and University Avenue on a Sunday afternoon at about –10* or –15* below as I hung out the window waiting for the light to turn green. Damn exciting life I live, huh? LOL …..  Lucas and I just got done shopping at Sam’s Club. There is nothing like pushing a cart full of food at a slight uphill incline at negative temperatures in deep newly fallen snow to make one realize just how out of shape that are. I mean, Pear is a shape and that is my shape… but the other shape… cardio… well let’s just say as my son was yelling at me to unlock the door because he was freezing I was gasping for breath. Next time… I’m getting one of those cart guys to help me to the car. Pride is stupid.

We had the cutest bath time with Sophie jumping at the tub, but no, I will not show photos of the kids in the tub. Too many creeps out there.
While drying Olivia’s hair I took a photo. I told her I wanted her to remember Mommy making her pretty. See her face? She was pissed. She said, “I don’t want you to blog it”. I asked her what “blogging it meant”. She told me she didn’t know. Afraid of the unknown. Nice.

Isn’t her hair beautiful. So silky and crazy thick.

The boys shoveled the stairs, sidewalk and second set of stairs. Nick shoveled a path across the lawn and up the hill so his little siblings could get to the bus. Not because they wanted to, but because I asked. Or demanded. Same thing.
Look how deep the snow is on my lawn. Will I ever see green again? I miss summer.

Okay…gotta go. I’ll get almost 6 hours of sleep if I am lucky. Tomorrow we are back-to-school. Big day for the kids. Big one for me and Nick, too. We are going to teach ourselves how to run electrical wiring, build walls and sheetrock. Nick says we can find it all on YouTube. God help the house! :)

Don't worry about the cardio, I am sure its actually bad for you to exercise at such cold temperatures (thats my excuse and I will stick to it!)
Good luck with the wiring! I'm sure you & Nick will make an awesome team, plus bonus time together :)

Olivia has beautiful hair.

One of the things that I like so much about you is how you just "put it all out there." Good, bad, ugly, whatever. I rarely post about the crap that's going on in my life and maybe I should. My stress level would probably be much better.

When I began blogging I decided to keep it real and post all the knitty gritty. Life is this way.

Love her hair. Funny she is afraid of the blogging it. My kids say the same things lol.

Have a real~ wonderful~ day!
