A Little More From Around The House

Olivia went running around the house to head up the stairs and let out a scream. What is it?

112

Yes, Mr. Groundhog seems to not be afraid of people.

113

114

My husband found it quite amusing watching me shoo it off the stairs. At his point he turned, bared teeth and hissed.

116

I was forced to throw things at it.

119

I have a few zinnia that have bloomed.

134

The carrots look beautiful. They aren’t necessarily big when picked, but they are tasty. Olivia eats the most.

More shots of the over-grown greenhouse.

Love Celosia. Growing many more next summer.

154

Odd shaped bell peppers.

157

Don’t believe we’ll be using the furnace this fall.

158

A view from the back towards the door.

166

The weeds are awful.

174

Much better.

186

Marigolds reseeded themselves and never got moved before I had to leave. I transplanted a few and then finally just pulled them up like weeds.

185

That looks much better. Red and yellow did not go with the pink.

192

This one grew into the frame and we can’t get it out.

160

Trying to head out the door and act like a normal family. Olivia decided to pour her own juice out of a full pitcher. The lid came off and dumped the entire contents of lemonade all over her, her brother and the floor. Much mopping and changing of clothes. Can’t we just have one day go smoothly?  Going to try heading out again….wish us luck. :)

You know I have severe garden envy, right? We planted a small garden with very poor results this year. Your plants are AMAZING!

Olivia is so adorable, easy to forgive the lemonade spill from that smiling face!

Hope Elijah is feeling better.

Wow Gayle ~ I can't believe what is going on in your greenhouse. What are those huge leaves that Olivia is standing under? Even with a late start, and the stress you've been under, your gardens are thriving. Lady, you are one inspiration to keep going no matter what.

I love that picture of you chasing the groundhog. :-)

May your day today be a good one.

Love and hugs ~ FlowerLady

Gayle your greenhouse garden is mighty impressive and your flower gardens are stunning.
send My outside gardens are struggling this year with hot temps and very little rain. Green beans are finally starting to flower.
I hope Elijah is improving and that you have been able to get some much needed rest.
I hope the rest of your day goes smoothly!

I love your new header, Gayle.
Your greenhouse garden is just amazing!
That groundhog seems to think he owns the place. I hope you can find a way to scare him off so you can reclaim your stairs.
