Sunday!!

Sunday morning I was right back to cleaning the pond so it could be filled Monday. (Do you believe Mr. White is going to actually take two days in a row off???).  While cleaning I found that the wall in the "falls" had sloughed off. We had to move rocks, pull back the liner and re-do the whole thing.  Major delay of progress!

Two of the laziest teenagers around! They loaded and emptied one trailer of dirt and loaded a second. Then left. Nick did have to go to work, but Elijah...well, you know. So I emptied the second, loaded and emptied a third. Homer came and shaped it and now the "falls" are more of a slide.

Dad taught Lucas how to read a level. We pulled the liner back and of course because we made changes it doesn't fit right. We were very irritated. It is heavy and isn't easily moved.  I have no idea what we are going to do to make it right on top.
And that is the end of Sunday's photos. Homer finished my center bed in the greenhouse. I now have to paint it and shovel the dirt out of the back of his truck so he can go to work tomorrow. I spent until 10:30 PM last night pressure washing the pool. Every muscle in my body is screaming. My feet hurt. I sunburned my neck and arms crunchy. AND I DIDN'T FINISH!! The mosquitoes got so thick I couldn't take it anymore. Watered the garden and went to bed at midnight.

At 10:30 AM I was back in the pool and I can say that it is clean! Homer just left for the first load of water. He won't be able to fill it with such a late in the day start, but at least it will be started!!  Now I'd better get to painting.
