Hour By Hour

Hour by hour I'm making it through the days.

How do you deal with stress?  Me, I put my head under the covers.  Seriously.  The only way for me to cope is to shut my over-active brain off for a little bit.  So for a little bit today I did that.

It helped.

Elijah had an afternoon basketball practice that kicked his butt.  They ran a lot.  Good for that young man.

Nick and I had lunch together and it was great!  He was actually on his way to meet friends, but delayed an hour to spend some one-on-one time with his mom.  Words can't express what a blessing that kid has been in my life for the last (almost) 18 years.  He is my world.

There was some outside time.  With our warm temps you can't help but go outside.  Even if Emily and I would rather move to a sunny location! Oh, wait... that would be me, Emily, Nick and Elijah!! :)  Of course, I didn't have my camera.  Can't get into taking photos.  Shoot, I can't even get into changing the dead batteries.  *sigh*

The one photo of the day is Dad playing a new Christmas game with the Wee People with Em watching (see her hand?).  (That's a little table he picked up at the transfer site aka dump for me to sand and paint.  In my free time.)

I promise to take some photos soon.  Really. (I still owe RottenMom one of Daisy).

I read your list of things to do. Oh my, that is a lot of list!

I am also a list maker. Have you ever put something on your list that you have already done just so you can cross it off?

When is the custody hearing? Good luck.
