I do disclaimers all the time, they crack me up. That gun is huge. And, I think, honestly, that your little one is safer than most of our kids who have never seen a gun, because he knows the rules and understands that guns are not toys. If one of my kids found a gun at someone's house accidentally - they wouldn't have a clue and that's when people get hurt.
He is just adorable! It's wonderful that your husband spends so much time with your children. I'd much rather my kids learning how to hunt than hanging out around the school yard, getting into trouble.
I came from a long line of 'hunters', I live with a 'hunter', I don't hunt, but am fairly accurate with a shot, even though I don't care for weapons. Gosh, though, I'd never think of saying mean things about it! Wish more people would learn the importance of handling a weapon. It's good that he's learning from his Dad at an early age.
My husband & I hunt. All my kids hunt. They have all taken hunters safety courses too. We eat what we hunt and we don't hunt what we can't eat. I don't see anything wrong with teaching kids the proper way to treat and respect weapons. And Lucas really is a little dollface!

He looks awfully cute, and I'm sure he's having fun going out with Dad.
He is adorable! I bet they had a great time. Have a terrific Wednesday!
aim, fire, that gun is bigger than him.

Hunting is so grown up and fun! I love when kids get to do things like this with their father.
He is such a cutie too!
What a cutie. Kids grow up so quickly, it won't be long before he's able to be a real help to his dad when they go hunting!
