It's All About the Kids

While Dad's been working hard running new water lines (my washer is working!) the kids and I have been pretty lazy. Lots of time for playing.

This is what happens when Olivia does her own hair. So funny! (Ya...she picks out her own outfits, too!).

Emily found my stash of hot Apple Cider. One of our favorites.

She loves her new doll that Grandma Debbi got her for her birthday. We are going to sew some matching pajamas. Nick and Elijah were off visiting Luke who was housing sitting just down the road at his Uncle's house.

Last night Nick went to a wrestling meet in North Pole, Elijah hung out with Dad and Emily and I picked up Grandma Debbi for the movies. We went and saw Where the Wild Things Are. Not to offend those who liked the movie, but we all thought it was horrible. Slow and boring. Definitely would not watch it again. On the up side: Us three girls had a great time together.

Later Em and I played Uno. Elijah joined the second game and kicked our butt!

While we played games the Wee People played Indiana Jones on the xBox 360.

Glad we spent a quiet couple days as a family because the next few days are going to be busy!

Looks like a wonderful way to enjoy some time with the kids!! Also keeps them from "helping" dad too much with the plumbing!!

I always loved those quiet days of family games. Seems like that's when we got to know each other best.
