This week it was pretty easy for me to think of something I am going to miss. It's Nick. I'm going to miss hanging out, him just being around the house and how helpful he can be (like in this photo where he's helping carry plants from the greenhouse). He's a good friend, a good son, a good brother...I really, truly enjoy our time together. Is he moving out? Going away? No, but now he's got a driver's license and a car and I'm sure he'll spend less time hanging out with mom and more time hanging out with his friends. Like he's doing right now. *Sigh*.

Even though my oldest is only 6 I think in a blink of an eye this will happen to me.
of course I am at that stage that I just want them to go away somedays..lol...you know what I mean I am sure.

yes. i would have to agree. you will miss this! :) although somtimes James just stays home on friday nights and watches tv with his brother (like he is doing now) I dont expect zach to do that EVER, but james does! :) have a good one!

Aww! Gosh, I don't want to think about 16. I'm having a hard enough time w/ my boy starting kindergarten!
Oh ya Mama! I hope time goes by very slow for me, so that point takes forever. Wow- a drivers license, that is a big milestone. What a great moment you wrote about.
They grow up way too fast, don't they? It's good to see our kids independent, but we can't help but miss them, can we?
