The Renee Award

Today, I received the Renee Award from Little Black Scrap Cat.

She tells me that: “The Renee award was created by Bella and Ces in honour of their friend Renee who has inflammatory breast cancer. In Bella's own words "this is a brand new award and I have the pleasure and honor of spreading the seed, watching it grow. I hope it finds it's way to those who are like Renee: the acorn, a small package becoming a tall and sturdy oak, giving more acorns, becoming tall and sturdy oaks, giving acorns…”
The award is being passed to creative souls who give.
That is probably the kindest compliment I've been given in some time.
I'd like to pass this gift on to some creative and giving people.
Tootie is part of the Sanibel/Captiva Conservation Foundation dedicated to the preservation of sea turtles. Tootie is definitely a giver.
Snowbird at Sand Betwen My Toes is dedicated to rescuing animals for a wildlife organization that she isn't allowed to talk about. That doesn't make much sense to me, but I can say they are very lucky to have such a giving person working so hard for them.
I have lots of creative and giving friends, but I will only award twice leaving plenty of room for the award to be passed on.
Every day do something nice for someone else. It will make you feel better.

Wow, Gayle, congratulations to you and thanks for passing the award in my direction. I feel a bit unworthy.
