Here he is on first with Scooter (who also spent the night).
He hates playing catcher. Last year if he wasn't pitching this is what he had to do. Not very many kids can catch (or will even try) and he does a pretty good job. The coach promised he wouldn't get stuck there all season so I talked him into doing it. He only caught one game.
One of the garden beds before....
...and after. This year I sprinkled the wildflower seeds that Emily got me for Mother's Day. I've never just done seed so I hope it works out.
Roxie was my helper.
The door is on the greenhouse...
...and we are filling it with plants. (Still quite a few flats to carry out). (This is how light it is at 11:00pm).
The greenhouse is 14' by 25' and really tall. I just love it. When most of the flats go out the the flowerbeds then hubby will build beds inside for the tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.
Lots of baskets to plant!
Well, lots of plants to still carry out, flowerbeds to clean and a pool to finish cleaning and fill. Summer is such a busy time...I'd better get out there and enjoy it!

Your life is really jammed-packed with fun! The kids look like they are having a blast and your greenhouse is 'to-die-for'!
Have a great week
B:-)
I so absolutely love your green house. I've always wanted one and never seen it as a possibility until I saw the pictures of your's being built.
I can't wait until we move to our 'forever home' and I can get to work on my own.
I can't wait to see the next set of photos with the beds built in.
I planted the wild flower seeds also and they sprouted but in patches. So I just pruned, rearranged and filled in with other plants and it actually looked pretty good.
Gayle...am I ever impressed with your greenhouse! Not to mention what you have grown....you are way ahead of us. And all those hanging planters...it's enough for a store! Beautiful!
I love your flowerbeds with the rocks...can't wait to see them blooming.
Ball games are great but I totally agree how the younger ones wear you out. I barely get to see the game!
Gee you could open up your own landscaping place. I love all the
rock gardens. take me out to the ball game. I love watching the games.
You're an amazing person to keep up with your kids and their activities and still find time for some serious gardening. I'm in awe.
Will look forward to seeing the greenhouse in a few weeks!
Did ya have hot dogs at the b'ball game? They always taste better at a baseball game.
And I have a serious case of greenhouse envy!
The greenhouse will be so useful for a greenthumber like yourself.
And Elijah...what can I say...He rocks!
