A Perfect Moment

Not every day is perfect. In fact, most days are far from perfect. It's important to try and find a moment of good to take with you and hold on to.

This is our moment.

Emily, Olivia, Lucas and I went back to Creamer's Field to see the birds.

Who is out there today?
A Canada Goose, a Sandhill Crane and some Pintails.

Let's hit the trail!

Some help with who we are watching.

Trumpeter Swans

Mallards

Amid the turmoil of the day these three make every breath worth taking.

A loving pair.

A well laid log...

...can bring a lot of fun.

A beautiful moment to take with me.

Have a great day.

Gayle..glad you are taking the time to do some things that make you happy. The photo of the three kids from behind could be made into a poster. Nice shots.

Thanks for the reminder to look for those perfect moments. It is so easy to let yourself get overwhelmed and miss them.

Your enthusiasm for the beauty of nature in the face of such cold never ceases to amaze me. Loved the pictures!

You know, until I saw Earth today, I did not know that Sandhill Cranes are found in Alaska. We have a flock of them that lives in our neighborhood, they are awesome birds!!!
