They are such amazing creatures. You are probably so used to seeing them - we used to have them often when we first moved here. Now they seem to go around the farm, knowing where the fences are. I still get excited when one passes through.

It just amazes me to see these big guys so up close and personal. I remember seeing elk in peoples front yards when we were in the Banff and Jasper area of Canada. Or having them wander through my campsite. Amazing.

They are beautiful! You would certainly not see anything like that around here... or the snow either! Great shots!
I can't think of a comparable soutwest Florida happening, except once a black bear was prowling around a rural neighborhood down in Collier County... other than that, we gots cows in some of the open fields, but they didn't wander in from the wild - someone put 'em there.
