How pretty. I love being able to show my kids nature up close. I agree with queen size funny bone. Give it a safe place to live, like a plant!

I think it is actually a species of moth. Just something about the shape. But that is SO amazing - there in the middle of the frozen tundra, you've harbored a creature of summer. Yay!Tink *~*~*

Wow - I've never heard of a butterfly living in the winter - especially somewhere like Alaska!
