No Photo Saturday

I left the camera home. After taking about 1500+ photos this week I can't even look at my camera. Besides, all I did was drive.

Up at 7:00am and off....

16.43 miles to drop Elijah at his basketball game.
5.78 miles back to West Valley to drop Nick at practice.
5.78 miles back to catch the last quarter of the game and pick up Elijah.
1.62 miles to Wal*Mart to shop and eat.
1.62 miles back to the gym to drop off Elijah.
5.78 miles to pick up Nick.
7.57 miles to take Nick to meet Dad to get a ride (I lost my Driver's License and can't get on the Army base) to the hill to snowboard.
13.0 miles to Emma's house to drop Olivia off at a birthday party.
13.51 miles back to Elijah where I have missed the entire game.
2.67 miles over to a different school to get Elijah's basketball photos taken.
2.86 miles to Fred Meyer for Aleve for his foot problems.
11.31 miles to home to the snowmachine so Elijah can go riding with friends.
3.92 miles to Emma's to pick up Olivia.
3.92 miles back home. Finally.

Another day. Another day in the truck. Another 95.77 miles driven.

Of course, that is nothing compared to the 26.88 miles from home to hubby's work. Most days he drives up the the Hot Springs which is another 49 miles from the office. And then back again. And around and around town gathering parts and stuff. He must drive three hundred miles a day.

But he doesn't do it with a 2 and 4 year old. I do.

Oh, and he's getting paid. That's a bonus.

Do you ever think about how much time you spend in your vehicle? How many miles you drive? I don't mind the driving, I just hate losing so much time in my day.

Maybe tomorrow I'll pick up the camera again for some frosty Alaska shots.

Or maybe not.

Too bad you didn't get paid by the mile.

Good grief, I'm totally worn out from riding with you. :-) I don't know how you do it.

I feel ya, woman. We're in the car a lot, too. Most of the time I like it though, because even though it's smaller than the guest house, at least the kids are quiet in there and I can listen to music and not have to worry about dishes...HA!

I was just noticing in my truck, either I have been lazy this year or I really do have everything close to me, but we only drove 18,000 miles this year and that includes a round trip to CO. not bad.
