Thirteen Things from my morning:
1. Woke up five children (some of them twice!). Managed to push them through the shower, getting dressed and eating in forty minutes.
2. Made three lunches.
3. Woke up two more children (who are by no means happy about being woke up) and dressed them.
4. Loaded seven kids in the van (and I remember to bring coffee!).
5. Dropped Elijah and Tyler (not my child, but he spent the night at our house) at basketball practice. (I sure hope we don't have all morning practices. After school is so much easier on me).
6. Dropped Nick and Cody at school. (Normally, they ride the bus, but when I have to drive to Middle School basketball I drive right by the high school.) Incidently, we saw a beautiful red fox on the bike path, but couldn't get a photo. We were in the wrong lane in too much traffic with 7 more minutes to get to practice. It just wasn't in the cards.
7. Brought Emily back home to eat, dry her hair and get out to the bus in 12 minutes.
8. Fed Lucas and Olivia breakfast.
9. Filled the wild bird feeder. They don't have much longer to store for the winter.
10. Put the dogs outside with food and water.
11. Fed the farm animals.
12.Drank more coffee!
13. Made my Thursday Thirteen list!
Now for round two....I need to bathe four tiny puppies and trim their nails. They are going to meet a potential buyer. Also, need to bathe the babies and myself before Olivia's eye appointment. By the time we get back it will be 1:00....lunchtime, naptime...before I know it Emily and Elijah will come home on the bus and we'll have to head out the door to football practice. I need more hours in my day! How are your mornings?
