Yesterday was my tackle it Tuesday day. Here's what happened....
Filter canister for the pool.

Twelve filters to clean. (I wash them a couple times before replacing to save money).

The water is flowing again!

Mother Nature is filling the pool with leaves!
Got it most cleaned out (to get filled back up!)

Sand on the bottom. You'll have to trust me that I
vacummed this out as I forgot the after shot.

The rocks are full of leaves. I vacummed them with the Shop Vac. This took forever since leaves were down in the rocks from people walking on them. If we stay off of them it should be easy to keep cleaner.

Time to clean out the pea vines.
This is what is left of the peas.

More rocks to wash and put around the pond.

All but the really heavy ones are done!

My day started at 6:00am getting kids to school and basketball practice. My day of work started at 9:00am after taking the babies to the sitter. I stopped at 8:00pm last night to pick them up from the sitters. It was a long day! Had to do dishes and homework with the kids when I got back so I was too tired to post last night.

Can you cut down some of the Birch trees around the pool?
btw, we threw the califlower tops, etc, into the woods for moose.
What a huge tackle! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment about kids' glasses. Our experience wasn't too bad (compared to the dentist!). My 11-year-old wants contacts, but the doctor recommended waiting until high school. With sports, though, the boys take their glasses off to play.
I always wanted a big pond but I have a tiny one with a waterfall instead.
but... but... I saw flowers on the pea vines! That means more peas were coming!
You sure did tackle a bunch of stuff yesterday! That was quite the workout. Well, pretty soon it will all be covered with snow, and you will sit and dream and sketch and visualize how it will look when you have the chance to work it again in the spring.

Wow, that is an awesome tackle! :D You got a TON done!!
Also wanted to thank you so much for your encouragment to me on my Tackle It. You definitely hit the nail on the head with your comment. Have a great evening!
What a great tackle. Your pond is gorgeous!
I'm exhausted just reading what you did!!And I love your pool/pond!
Gayle, Thanks for stopping by my blog. To answer your question, no, I don't print my pages out. At the end of each year, I upload my entire book to the Creative Memories Photo Center and have it printed and bound into a StoryBook for that year. It looks very nice and professional that way, and it costs me a fraction of what a traditional album would cost. You could print out your own pages, but I choose not to because it would take up a lot of printer ink and be pretty expensive. You could also have your pages developed at a photo center such as Creative Memories, but it is more expensive than having them all printed and bound into a StoryBook.
