Tuesday and Wednesday

Tuesday....

At 1:00am Nicholas insisted I come out and take a photo of the really cool fog. (The photo is no where as cool as the fog really was). I bet you're wondering why he's out skateboarding in the middle of the road at 1:00am. Answer: because he can!
Maybe he should sleep more?
I love to see him having so much fun this year.
Oh, that was a close one!
Grounder to third, makin' the play...he's out!
Pitching....

Wednesday...
This guy was doing some kind of touch and go, circling around and around thingy over the soccer fields. Every time he went all we could say was, "Wow. The amount of fuel he's burning could heat my home for the winter". By the time he was done flying in circles (really, I think he had it on the first pass) he could have heated dozens of homes this winter. If I could only tap into that fuel source.!

Baseball

Here's my baby playing baseball last Monday night. What a great catcher. He was out in North Pole last night so Homer took him while I worked the concession stand in town. They tell me he hit a triple. Way to go!! He also struck out 4 or 5 guys. Woohoo!

Baseball

This was a hard, line-drive to third base. Still didn't get on base, but was much better than the previous strike-out!
Winding up to throw a runner out at second.

Elijah hustled back for this wild pitch and threw the guy out at home!

Oh, did I mention that Cody is away on an adventure with his grandparents. He's seen several states...Kentucky to Texas to New Mexico to Arizona all on his way to Oregon. (And I'm sure there were many more inbetween). He's having a blast, but who knew I would miss my son so much?! Looking forward to him coming home.

Play Ball!

Tonight was Elijah's first baseball game. He played catcher and did an awesome job. He snagged almost every ball thrown at him by 3 or 4 different pitchers. He also got on base all three times at bat! Way to go, Buddy!

Today, was Molly's first trip to town (besides the vet). She did not like strangers and backed away from them. At one point she began barking at a woman and her child. Definitely not comfortable with the people, but fine in new surroundings.
