The rest of the story….
After a successful Painting Party us seven ladies set up a Planting Party (Brittany had to work).
Carissa and Jackie….
Olyvia, Deja and Misty….
our flowers….
Such a good time.
We I misjudged how many flowers we needed so the girls put the what was left in a huge pot we found behind the shed. It gets dark quick down in the States (something I’m not used to) so they ended up planting by headlights.
Misty, her girls and I borrowed some rocks from the field behind the house. It was immediately clear that it wouldn’t be enough. (Can you believe it was 103* the day we went and got these? I really loved it).
The next day Misty thought of a better place to go over by the Feather River.
I sure wish I had it this easy at home.
We even found a 15-foot piece of driftwood.
The finish garden in memory of a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Jean Simmons.

The garden project turned out so beautifully. It's wonderful that everyone was involved. Any mother would love to be remembered in that way.
