So Much Snow!

Yesterday was one big snow storm dumping 18 inches with high winds that knocked my power out for 3 hours.  It was also parent/teacher conferences.  Homer drove home and picked us up as my van isn't moving.  Olivia was so excited to share the things that she does at school.  It was so fun seeing her joy.

Five hours of shovelling makes for a very tired Mama.  I shovelled a path to my 4-wheeler.  Here I am half way there...had to go all the way around the trampoline. When Homer got home he worked until 10pm in the bad winds to get my plow on.  This sucks in so many ways.
So much hidden crap in the snow.
Hard to believe how much snow there is.  Haven't seen anything like this since '93 when I was pregnant with Nick.
Fours hours and frozen.  So much more to move.  I've warmed up now so I'm headed back out.  4-wheelers are meant to plow as it snows, not when it is this deep, but I'm making it work.
Did a little transplanting while I was warming up.  I have so many things to do, I am so tired and there isn't enough hours in each day to do it all. Bottom right corner..that's a little leaf sticking out.  The ones in the baggie started growing!

All that snow!!! Our big snow melted last week while I was on the beach in Cozumel. :-)

But we have another big snow coming "they" say. Sick of it! It sure has been a winter to remember here in MO.

Gayle, I hope you are staying warm while you plow that snow. I remember you saying you don't own a coat!

I bet that wood stove was nice to have during the power outage.

I love the little tiny leaf.

BRRRRR! I have a chill just thinking about it. Smart woman to work in the grow room while thawing, at least gives you some hope for the days to come!

But ya'll are some brave people. I could NOT live there.

Olivia is such a cute little student. It's good to have a kid who enjoys school so much!
That is a lot of snow, and a lot of work to move it.
