Couldn't Be Happier

What a great weekend!!  I'm feeling a renewed energy.  Must be all the positive vibes!

We were invited by the mom of this great kid to watch him play Saturday.  So we did!  Homer, Nick and I took in a basketball game and were still able to catch the end of the football game.  Elijah took a long ride (about 25 miles) on the snowmachine to a friends house. Homer met him half way so he could sit in the truck and warm up.  How sweet is that?!  He then followed him the rest of the way to make sure he found their house okay.  It was his first time staying at this particular families home and we didn't want him lost. Grandma had the Wee People over to spend the night and I'm sure they were having a great time.

A considerable amount of time was spent on Emily's room getting the sheet rock done.  My dear husband works so hard for his family.  We are so lucky.  I'm not hanging the rock, but I am the clean-up guy.  Got a lot of stuff packed up to give away and tossed a lot of trash.  Amazing what pack rats we are!

This morning we went to town for groceries and paint (with a gift certificate we got for Christmas!).  The sun sure was bright.
We picked up Olivia and Lucas and saw a moose on the way home. We had to turn around, go back past it, turn around again so we could stop and get some photos.

More work was done on the bedroom. Elijah played basketball with friends.  Nick on the Xbox with the little brother. Played dolls with Olivia.  Helped Elijah with homework.  Dyed a down blanket. A new niece was born to the family.
Knitted Elijah a hat while watching Brothers & Sisters.
It was a great weekend.

Great moose photo! I have been meaning to ask - do you have bear in you neighborhood? If so, are they dangerous for the children and animals?

I like that hat! I wish I would learn to knit.

Awed by your moose photos!

I can't believe Elijah traveled 25 miles on a Snowmobile. Wow. That's a long trip!

I once visited a friend in Maine and I thought I saw a foal on the side of the road. "Oh look at the cute baby horse!" I said as we drive by. She laughed at me and said it was a cute baby MOOSE. Sorry, city girl, I just don't know any better! LOL
