New Life

It all starts with some potting soil and a plastic tray.

A few tiny seeds.

Water and light makes things happen.

Soon life emerges.

Hard to believe this...

...will be this.

These will be....

...these.

This tiny plant will grow into...

...this magnificent flower.

Last summer I grew this....

...into this.

I grew these from seeds I harvested....

...from here.

These seeds were harvested...

...from here.

Such an amazing process, and a lot of fun, too!

You have such a green thumb, and I am in awe of your growing area. I'm trying seeds this year for my first time, I hope I will be half as successful as you always are!

Are you using seeds harvested from WAVE petunias? I have been buying the pelleted seeds but they are SOOO expensive. I haven't started a thing...you make me feel motivated!!

it really is truly amazing. I have no luck with starting flowers from seed. the tiny seedlings...get too tall and gangly and die. sigh...

That looks like so much fun. It seems like yesterday that you were planting last summers seeds. I can't wait to see pictures of your gardens again.
