Almost Spring!

The weather has been awesome! The snow on the 8' X 60' deck has been pouring down in front of the door. Dad and the boys cleared the snow and ice off last night/today so the waterfall should stop.

The sky was a crystal blue everywhere you looked.

See the sliver of the moon?

Elijah had a big weekend with two days of snowboarding. Next week Birch Hill will close for season. Where did the time go? Nick spent the night out and then went skateboarding with Sean on whatever dry pavement they could find around town. Summer cannot come soon enough for that boy. Dad and I hung around the house with the little ones. Could these two be any sillier?

See that? Another row of shelves with lights! Woohoo! Three more shelves to go (he's doing the underneath as well) and then it will be time to build a wall and put up shelves on the other side. Isn't this grow room going to be awesome?

Here's what is left of the stapled lily and some dahlias. Flats of Impatiens not yet sprouted.

Snapdragons and marigolds. More lilies and dahlias.

Schizanthus and dianthus.

Pansy and geranium. Dahlia and marigolds.

Petunias and coleus. Viola.

Impatiens with three sprouted and lobelia just planted today.

So many more things to plant...don't you just love almost Spring?!

Spring is always a welcome sight. We had our first outdoor barbeque yesterday. Hope is just around the corner. Dirty snow is beautiful.
