For
Scenic Sunday I decided to share of few photos of our new winter near my home.
Pulling out of the driveway...
Looking to the right....
Looking down Cripple Creek...
Looking up Cripple Creek...
Heading to town...
A Sun Dog seen from the West Valley parking lot.
I threw in a photo of Rusty just because he's cute and he's
lovin' the fact that I'm taking him with me wherever I go.
One last shot from the yard. The boys won't shovel the sidewalk because that is too much work, but Nick will bust his butt to clear a spot to winter skateboard. He tells me that skateboarding is fun, but yard work isn't. I love his logic!

oh its beautiful but so remote.
Gayle, I don't do "Scenic Sunday" but I just read your comment that was signed from nick to me and I wanted to say "Ain't kids great?" AND so much snow so early in the season? Well, I guess it's not so early in Fairbanks, Alaska... :)
Is all that snow what I have to look forward to - in Queens, New York (NYC)? Yikes! :)
Your winter wonderland is beautiful!
Keep the snow up there for a few more weeks. But I will love it when it comes to stay.
Beautiful , beautiful,thanks for sharing.
I think this is gorgeous! We haven't had any snow yet here, but we did last year in November and it lasted (topped up frequently, of course) till March.
Lovely snow photos! I am not ready for snow just yet here but it wonderful to see in your pictures.
It was 90 degrees today down here in southern California. Your snowy scenes are so hard to imagine. They are so beautiful and the remote lifestyle is so fascinating. It seems like a vacation...but, I know that remote living has its own set of chores so different from ours...All I can say is, "Wow!" No...one more thing...I want to compliment your photography! You really capture impressive images...and Rusty, what a gorgeous pooch!
Beautiful! I love the way roads look when covered with snow, but I don't like driving on them.
Oh yeah, I remember snow now. It's been awhile since I've seen it--and I don't really care if I never see it again. But I do love your pictures of it.
I like the shot with the reflection of the trees on the hood of the car.
Nice work!
