Ruby Tuesday: Rosy Cheeks

Join Mary The Teach for Ruby Tuesday!
We have very little snow so far this year, but what we do have is enough for the kids to have some fun. Here's Emily showing off her balance. I think someone might be going snowboarding with her brothers this year.
It's a lot of hard work pushing your little sister up the slippery slope,
but it's worth it for the ride down.
Now you really didn't think I was passing pink off for Ruby did you? Not me! Check out those cheeks. Those two little girls had the most rosy cheeks while sledding.
Lucas also wanted to show you his freshly ruby-scraped nose and cheek which may or may not have come from a much older sister who might possibly have thrown a sled in his direction while being sassy. He'll also tell you his foot is bropen (broken) from the same sister crashing him into a pole although it really isn't. It was a rough day of sledding for the Lukey Monster and I'm sure it won't be the last.

That's a LITTLE bit of snow for you guys? Yikes... The kids sure look like they're enjoying it. Poor Luke though, now you've got two bruisers. Thankfully we haven't gotten to the settling things with their fists stage here yet, I'm not at all sure I'm up for that one.

LOL for us that would be a LOT of snow. :) Looks like they were having lots of fun. Cute photo of the ruby red nose and cheeks.

Absolutely beautiful kids! The ruby snow gear is the perfect complement to the snow white. There is so much fun to snow, why do we grown-ups seem to lose that fun feeling about the winter that the kids have?

Lucas is a doll, and so impish. Wonderful family rubies!

Lots of fun in the snow for the kid. I used to love it, so did my daughter.
Now I'm old and out of time. Wouldn't even think of trying a snowboard.
I'm afraid I might brope my foot.

I love the first snowfall..in our case this year we have had many snowfalls, the kids get excited, I put away all warmer weather items and then bam...it gets warm again and all the snow melts and the mud reappears! Really getting tired of the mud and muck and I truly wish for winter to arrive.

Love the pic of the Lukey monster...teehee.

I'm so not ready for snow. Unfortunately I think our Indian Summer is coming to an end. 60's today then 40's tomorrow. Snow will be here before I know it! :(
