Want to talk about your dog? You can do it here!This is Rusty...Elijah's long-haired dachshund. As you can see he's enjoying the back of the couch. Until just recently the pups spent a good portion of their time in a play yard in the living room. Rusty was getting in to trouble for marking my furniture because of the girls being in heat.
Roxie was in the kennel because she was never properly potty trained when I bought her.
When the Wee People were smaller it was just too hard for me to keep on eye on everyone, but now that Olivia and Lucas are older it's gotten easier. Now that I can keep an eye on the dogs I've been letting these two roam the house. Of course, the couch has become a favorite place to be.
Today, Rusty is on the foot stool right next to the computer. They are both much happier now that they are close to us. My next move will be to get them each their own blanket to keep the hair off the couch.
Such peaceful sleep.
I think someone is getting a little chubby!
Sally and Ruby are still in the play yard as they are both in heat, but when they aren't they will get to roam about as well.

Your pups are cuties, and I'm sure they're delighted to be allowed to roam freely and be involved in every little thing. A blanket on the furniture is a good idea, too.
Looks like your pups have found some comfy napping spots. Couches just call out to our pups. Sydney's favorite place is the living room couch too.

I have a daschund too. His favorite place is on my lazy boy recliner with me. He is my constant companion and I love him dearly.
I have to hand it to you, I can barely handle the months of winter here in PA, so you are a stronger person then me! Your furbabies are precious! I am going to look for pictures of the other two in earlier posts!
