Skies on Friday

One in the morning,
A storm is brewing outside.
Can you smell the rain?

Yes, it really was 1:15am when I took these photos even though the time on my camera was wrong and blogger's time for my location is wrong. We have light (sort of) all night long now. The skies were getting angry and the wind was starting to blow. I hope it rains hard and then is back to sunny skies in the morning. I've really been enjoying the 80 degree weather!

It's amazing how light it is at that hour! We do quite well here at the height of summer, it hardly gets really dark, but you must end up with a 24 hour day!

I love the smell of rain! Especially on a hot summer's day when it is so welcomed. As of late, though, it's become way too dominant. The mosquitoes are going to carry us away this summer. :(

Thanks for playing along. Your photos are great. I especially loved the last one where the trees look as though they are stretching up to the sky.

Have a lovely weekend.
