See Santa's face on the right? The reindeer are on his beard.
See the large swirls...those are carved all over the sculpture giving it the textured look. I can't imagine how much time that must have taken.

I wanted you to see my photos since I stood out there freezing to take them for you, but if you go to the Ice Alaska website you can see the sculptures before any melting and at night with the lights. If you have time it is worth a look. If you don't have time to look around the site go here for a few shots. Oh, ya, and there are live web cams. How cool is that?! That's My World!

Thanks for showing your icy world. There was so many breathtaking sculptures trying to get my attention. The leaping wolf I remembered the most.
Wow, the sculptures have absolutely amazing detail.
The horses are my favorite, of course.
WOW, I could certainly make myself stay out in the cold long enough to look at those! Very beautiful and lots of work went into them, for sure.
Sorry about your bad luck. You need a vacation!!!!
The doggie clothes are cute! :-)
Gayle, got a question for you. Could you send me your email address? tootie_sanibel@embarqmail.com
Tootie's right... you need a vacation! Your photos are beautiful and thanks for sharing. I don't know how you get it all done.
Hey, just want to tell you, the colors for your pay-it-forward project just happen to be my favorite! (sly little smile inserted here!)
Stay warm.

That's some amazing ice. I'm so glad you shared this with us!
I love this kind of thing! Thank you so much for sharing these. It amazes me what people can do with their two little hands and a tool or two combined with the imagination. Just beautiful!
Unbelievable! Did I love the horse sculpture or what???
These ice sculptures are simply amazing! Worth a trip in the cold to see. Thanks for sharing them!!
Cute little wiener coat! Is she quite old? Or a puppy? Or just not house trainable.. It must be a challenge with your cold temps to be letting dogs in and out all day!
I will send some Irish luck your way today!!

Thank you very much for standing there freezing and taking shots for us. Superb shots!
Creative people get creative with anything that is around and in Alaska it is with ice. :)
I think it's so cool that down here we have sand sculpture and up there you've got ice sculpture. Some of those are so intricate, it amazes me. Thanks for freezing your buns off so we could see!

Some of these ice sculptures are just magnificent! Thank you so much for showing them to us.
I sure hope your luck changes soon.
Ice sculptures always amaze me. They are so beautiful. It must be very sad to see them all start to melt.
Very nice - Thanks!
Now that takes talent! So cool. Thanks for sharing that.
Wow, that is beyond cool!! Thanks for sharing :)
Beautiful. Each year for several weeks one of the hotels in Orlando has an ICE exhibit. We went for the first time this year, and it was amazing. The sculptors were all from China. It was NINE degrees inside, a temperature I have not felt anywhere near in 6 years.
