Tagged!

I've been tagged by Sheri at Little Black Scrap Cat to do a self-portrait.

The "rules" of this Tag are as follows: I must take a self portrait of me, of course, and post it on my blog. Not just any old portrait, but a right here, right now, as I am portrait. No leaving the room to make myself beautimous, no primping or changing clothes. Nothing. Just right here, right now.

I don't think there is any amount of "primping" that would help. Sad, but true.

I wasn't going to play along since I never allow photos of me....gravity has not been good to me, but then I remembered how my husband always tells me how he wishes he could put his eyes in my head so I could see what he sees. (He's so sweet). I am who I am, and I'm okay with that.

So here goes....

(I definitely need longer arms...and make-up and a tan and apparently my nose is crooked. Oh, and a haircut...haven't had one of those in a couple years).

Oh, and am I gonna tag someone else? You bet I am. Putting a face with a blog would really help my forgetfulness! :) If you are one of those people who are afraid of the blogger-turned-real-life stalkers of the world I understand, but I can assure you there probably isn't anyone out there more scary than my neighbor and I see him every day.

Here goes.....Tootie, ChrisC and JonJ, Tink, Stace, Barb and Alice.

Gayle your husband is right. You should see through his eyes. You are very lovely. We all are so critical of ourselves aren't we? I should only wish I looked so good without makeup and a camera. I scare myself each day.

You are beautiful. Your eyes are stunning! Excellent photo of yourself and very brave on your part for over coming your shyness and posting your photo.

Thanks so much for playing along. I like having a face to go with my blog/email buddies!! You're beautiful!! I, too, am very opposed to having my picture taken. And it rarely is since I've developed quite a knack for avoiding the lens!! I almost didn't do this tag because if involved my picture. (Notice I use the cats for my profile pic, rather than myself!!) But I bit the bullet and did it!! Not sure I would have had it been the day before!! I was "tagged" at a fairly decent moment!!

Gayle: you seem like a good person, inside and out. How could you be anything BUT beautiful? Don't be so hard on yourself.

I love this photo tag so we can put faces to some of the names.

Thank goodness you didn't tag me. I would have hated to have to shut down my blog.

Are you sure you weren't primping, as you were reading the previous tag? You look great!
Those baby blue eyes, I'm so jealous!

That's pretty darn good - I think you look lovely. How come it's freezing where you are and you don't have the chapped/eczema stuff on your fact that I have?

Very cool to see you face to face!

Yeah, I've got to join the goofy chorus and agree, you have beautiful eyes and are very pretty -- but more, you have the look of character, which is a beauty that doesn't fade.

Girl you look damned good!! You must have been prepared. :-) I have to tell ya though, that I don't do all the award stuff, or I would spend 24/7 doing nothing but that. So, you'll just have to catch my old ugly mug on my blog posts. :-) Thanks though, I do appreciate the thought.

I wouldn't worry too much about the son's short attention span or whatever. I think it means he probably has a great personality. :-) But, don't let him know that.

I think you are doing a great job of keeping Miss want to learn, pretty busy. :-)
