Thirteen Things I Will Not Miss While My Kids Are In The Bahamas
1. picking up dirty socks
2. telling Elijah 17 times to go to brush his teeth and go to bed!
3. half eaten bowls of cereal on my counter
4. waking up early for school
5. basketball practice
6. bickering
7. listening to the Xbox
8. the ringing telephone
9. pee on the toilet seat
10. helping with homework (homework is stupid...that's my time!)
11. cooking three different dinners for the picky eaters
12. living in the truck driving back and forth and back and forth and back and forth...
13. phone calls from the principal
There are also things I will miss....
1. the conversations we have when we drive back and forth and back and forth....
2. bickering
3. sharing all the great things they "did" on the Xbox
4. having dinner together
5. watching their basketball games
6. hugs
7. kisses
8. telling me they love me
9. telling them I love them
10. Nick convincing us to take him out to eat
11. Elijah's social life...funny to watch
12. watching the older kids play with the babies
13. tucking them in at night knowing they are safely home with me

You really do learn alot about your sons driving them back and forth from practice,don't you?Yep,those are times I miss.
I think you should go to the Bahama's and leave the dirty socks behind.
you know, as much as I dont miss getting up early and getting everyone to school on time, I DO miss the conversations we used to have, when theyre trapped in a car and have no real distractions you can really get into their heads.
I am sure they will be back before you know it! And then you will have to drive back and forth and back and forth.... :D
