Super Bowl 43

Hubby and I did some dancing. We did some high-fiving. We whooped it up and made some noise. In the end, our team still lost.

Bummer.

The half-time show with the Boss was the best one in as long as I can remember. Real. Honest. Rock n' Roll.

Ben Roethlisberger should have been the MVP. No doubt. He zigged and zagged, rolled and dodged...he did everything he could to stay on his feet and complete passes the whole game. Holmes may have caught 9 passes, but Roethlisberger threw way more than that to lead his team to victory. He got screwed.

Well, it's over for another year. Does that mean Sunday's will be for working on the house again?

Naw.

Sorry your team lost, but my boy, Ben, done good!!! LOL. OK, so I never met the man but he was in 6th grade when I was teaching at his elementary school and I remember the name. How can you forget a name like that? Would you believe he never played quarterback until he was a senior in high school? The coach's son held that position!

If Michael, the Elder, didn't live in Pitts.(even tho he's still a true Bucs fan)we wouldn't have cared. We're just glad to see the crowds go home.

It sure did turn out to be an exciting game, even though I really didn't care who won.

The Cards played better than I thought they would. They certainly didn't choke. I really didn't care who won anyway, and I'm thankful the game wasn't here because our roads are already packed with all the winter residents. Our population goes up dramatically every winter. Then come April, there's a mass exodus back north..... Just call them snowbirds!!
