Friday night they played against the Palmer Moose. Unfortunately, we didn't do so well, but Nick got a lot of court time so that was great!
Here's the Varsity bench. Note the pink shoes laces. All the players wore them in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Week at West Valley. I thought that was very cool. The girls team all wore pink knee-high socks.
If you do not want to go out in the snow, bring the snow in.
Look at that grin. This guy is gonna be a wild one!
Cruisin' with his sister.
Olivia even drove this time!
My friend, Roscoe. Fetches great. Does not give the ball easily. Need to work on that one.
Emily is trying so hard to hold them...
....but they all came tumbling down.
Look, there's Miss Daily following Dad around the yard.
Dad threw a snack on the lid so she would hold still for me to take her photo.
Whee!!
The boys have been busy snowboarding and skiing (Elijah got some short trick skis), but I don't have any photos. Nick took a bunch of video, but I'm way to lazy to upload it. It is Sunday after all, and that is a slack day. :)
Nick's practicing driving with Dad, Elijah is snow machining with Nelson, Emily was snow machining in the yard, but now she's watching a movie with the Wee People. It's been a perfectly wonderful family day (and there is still a lot of it left). AND we even clean up some in the yard. What more could a gal ask for?

Well...it sounds like a perfectly fantastic day! That is except for the COLD air that is out doors. :-)
Love the snow in the sink. When my kids were little, we would bring buckets of snow in the house and dump them in the bathtub for them to play with. What fun!
Here is our favorite, quick recipe for snow ice cream:
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
teaspoon vanilla
add spoonfuls of fresh snow until its a consistancy that you like. The ice cream is super sweet and grainy. Yum!
I love the pink shoelaces...how nice of them to do that.
Those two are adorable. And,when we were kids,we used to make snow ice cream too.
Looks like you had a great family weekend.
The kids driving their little snowmobile sure are cute. Your dog Roscoe looks just like my Daisy. (She really hates to give up a ball, too. If we have a treat to give her, she'll drop the fetched item to get fed. That works pretty well.) Love the sheep following Dad. that's really cute.
Gayle...looks like a great day up there. Thanks for taking a couple of photos of your sheep. She looks happy.
