Whew!

Hello??!! Ya, I'm pretty sure I mentioned I don't like the snow. Or cold. I've made it very clear to the Wee People that "Mommy does not like snow!" So today when Olivia said she wanted to go outside I went in to the "it's-too-cold-and-the-wind-is-blowing" speech. Next thing I know she's telling me she's ready. Ready for what? I look up and she has dressed herself to go out. Of course, I had to get Luke and myself dressed. How could I say no after that kind of independence?

That smile is my reward.

Look at this! My dog can fly!

Do you suppose this should have been changed a few months ago?

Roscoe stole Lukey's hat right off his head. And then ran from me. Time for doggie school.
Ahh, that's better.

This is so much fun!
Whee! Oh, did I mention that it was +4 with lots of wind. My hubby guessed it to "feel like" -10. (I hate the term "feels like" especially when it is -35 and they say it "feels like" -28. No, really...it feels like -35. Oh, do I ramble....) Anyhow, I froze. They loved it. After THIRTY MINUTES I took them kicking and screaming into the house. Well, it wasn't really that dramatic, but 30 minutes was way too long for me!
Then later in the day Nick had a game against Monroe Catholic. We won! After the game I raced home with Nick and the Wee People to cook dinner and then I was back out the door....

....to take photos of the Varsity game.

After the Varsity game I shot one period of the hockey game on my way to pick Elijah up at the Athletic Club. All-in-all I took 445 photos today. I think 430 of them are crap. Where is that manual?
Can someone tell me when I'll have time to edit them all (and the 400 I took on Tuesday)? And post them to websites? And do all the other things I want to do? I am trying to pack an awful lot into this life, and it isn't fitting! Especially when the couches call me to snuggle with my hubby. That is the end of anything responsible!

Still contemplating which beach we are going to take the kids to. Any suggestions?

I love that hat so much. Cutie. I do not love that weather. Ugh. Dreading it.

Im cracking up over Roscoe. When Hunter was a younger puppy/dog, he used to snatch gloves and hats off the kids all the time. (and then RUN) And the back of Carson's tshirts always had a little tear in them where Hunter would grab hold while Carson was running.

I think you are trying to do too much. I don't know how you manage. I am certain that the other parents are very grateful for your great photography though.

I heard that we got Galveston cleaned up since Hurricane Ike. Just don't look at the houses or businesses it will break your heart. Oh and it is a nasty color, no white sands, never was. But it is a nice 70 today.

I vote for any beach on Sanibel!! Escape that nasty cold and snow and go somewhere warm!! Well, warmer than Alaska! They've had a bit of a cold spell, but when are you planning a beach trip?

Love your pics, but you must have very FULL days!! I vote for the couches and the hubby!!
